SUMMARY OF GS WOMEN’S SCHEDULE AT THE NATIONALS GS United Women’s team penalty kicks win in the Ontario Cup final was the first time the team advanced to the nationals via penalty kicks and a sign that just maybe lady luck was on their side in 2018.
GS defeated BC United 1-0 in the final and won the Toyota National Championships Jubilee Trophy in Saskatchewan, Canada. Laura Callender scored the game’s lone goal in the first half of extra time.
